NVIDIA announced that Capcom’s action-adventure title Onimusha: Way of the Sword will release on its GeForce NOW cloud gaming service on Thursday, Sept. 3. Players can stream a free playable demo immediately through the GeForce NOW app on Steam.
The game is set in a dark fantasy vision of Edo Japan, following a lone samurai battling demonic Genma with the Oni Gauntlet. Gameplay involves absorbing enemy souls and executing precise swordplay. NVIDIA said Ultimate members will receive GeForce RTX 5080-class performance in the cloud across PCs, Macs, handhelds, mobile devices, and televisions without needing dedicated storage space or local hardware.
GeForce NOW officially exited beta in India this week, moving to general public availability without a waitlist. Gamers in the region can select from monthly Performance or Ultimate memberships, flexible day passes, or a basic free tier. Purchases across all membership tiers in India now support Unified Payments Interface (UPI) payments.
Premium memberships unlock features such as ray tracing, NVIDIA DLSS, and NVIDIA Reflex, alongside faster frame rates, higher streaming resolutions, and priority server access. Members can stream PC titles they already own from supported digital storefronts.
Five new games arrived on the service this week, led by train-wrecking action title Denshattack! on Steam and Xbox, which joins Game Pass on July 15. The remaining additions include The Mound: Omen of Cthulhu arriving July 15 on Steam, Heave Ho 2 launching July 16 on Steam, and Fogpiercer landing July 17 on Steam and Xbox with Game Pass access.
