The no-cost online program focused on teaching developers how to design, secure, and deploy production-grade artificial intelligence agents in cloud environments using simple natural language instructions.
Learners accessed a combination of expert-led sessions, codelabs, technical whitepapers, and software notebooks to move experimental prototypes into live operations. Real-time technical collaboration occurred primarily through Kaggle's Discord server. Google reported that over 392,000 active participants joined the server during the event to swap code, debug technical issues, and organize study groups.
The program concluded with a capstone assignment that drew over 12,000 active participants who submitted more than 6,000 final projects. Submitted work spanned multiple technical fields, including Palimpsest, a specialized pipeline for historical manuscript transcription, and Project ARIES, a system built for space-weather research.
The intensive event marks the latest collaboration between Google and Kaggle, whose free multimodal courses have reached more than 2 million participants since their first joint five-day intensive launched in 2024.
